Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin coverings that are custom fabricated and bonded into place. Veneers can be used to improve the following situations:

 Veneers After Photos
  • Chipped and/or Broken Teeth
  • Close Gaps Between Teeth
  • Add Length to Short Teeth, Width to Skinny Teeth
  • Cover Dark or Discolored Teeth
  • Straighten Crooked Teeth

Porcelain veneers, as compared to composite veneers, tend to be more color stable, shinier and more durable. Because only a portion of the tooth is prepared, versus the whole tooth, they are a more conservative option than dental crowns. Since they are custom fabricated, they can be made to match the color and texture of your other natural teeth. Typical porcelain veneers can be expected to last 10 – 15 years with good home care.
